Policy & Advocacy
How JGEA engages with Japanese and Ghanaian institutions on behalf of Ghanaian exporters operating from Japan.
Japan Ghana Exporters Association represents the collective interests of Ghanaian exporters operating in Japan to bilateral institutions, embassies, customs authorities, and trade-promotion agencies in both Japan and Ghana.
Our advocacy priorities include export-procedure transparency, fair logistics pricing, regulatory clarity for second-hand goods and agricultural products, and recognition of the contribution Ghanaian exporters make to Ghana's GDP.
We work in dialogue with the Embassy of Ghana in Japan, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and Japanese customs and ministry counterparts.
Position papers, consultation responses, and public submissions will be published here as the policy programme develops.
